Course Info

H.J. Institute of Education & Technology provides the course leading to two years degree in education. The syllabus is framed as per regulation by NCTE/C.R.S.U., Jind.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF B.Ed. COURSE:

Enable the student teacher


  • To promote capabilities for inculcating national values and goals as mentioned in the constitution of India.
  • To act as agents of modernization and social change.
  • To promote social cohesion, international understanding, and protection of humans and the rights of the child.
  • To become competent committed professionals willing to perform the identified task.
  • To use competencies and skills needed for becoming an effective teacher.
  • To be sensitive student teachers about emerging issues such as environment, population, gender equity, legal literacy, etc.
  • To inculcate rational thinking and scientific temper among the students.
  • To develop critical awareness about the social realities among the students.

STUDENT CORNER

Approved Intake:

2 Basic units 50 students each under B.Ed. regular course.

Eligibility:

The candidates who are willing to apply for admission to B.Ed. the course must go through the below-listed eligibility norms set by the university.

  • Candidates must have at least 50% marks at either undergraduate level or postgraduate level.
  • There shall be no rounding off of the percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.5% and above will not be rounded off to 50%.
  • 47.5% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana State only.
  • 47.5% marks for Blind /Persons with disabilities and visually/Hearing Impaired candidates.
  • Compartmental candidates are not allowed admission in B.Ed.(Regular Course) in any case.
  • One year PG diploma in any subject will not be considered equivalent to a Master’s Degree.

Note:

  • A candidate having higher qualifications will not be entitled to any additional benefit whatsoever; he/she will have to fulfill all the requisite prescribed qualification and other eligibility conditions.
